Named for the strong, cold winds of southern France, Mistral was designed by Roger Excoffon for the Olive foundry in 1953. This unique brush script is based on the designers handwriting, and is a true script in that the letters are designed to connect. Mistral is beautifully designed and versatile, cleverly meeting the demands of headline and display work.
This face is designed to used at a text size of 18.0 points.
Mistral is a trademark of Linotype GmbH registered in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and may be registered in certain other jurisdictions.
