Michael Want was born in the year of the Dragon in Waltham Abbey, England. He has always had a passion for type. He started creating original letterforms almost as soon as he learned how to write, and has been at it ever since. Michael's Adobe Original typeface, Fusaka™, won a Judge's Choice award in the 1996 Morisawa Typeface Design Competition. He is currently very busy with typography, teaching and traveling.
